Pickle jars can be reused and repurposed in so many ways. Here at Dundee Gardens, we see them as a perfect vessels for planting. Children attending are asked to bring along a washed and empty glass jar, preferably a large pickle jar or a quart sized ball canning jar (wide mouth jars are easier to work with).  The class will be spent creating a living, growing ecosystem with these repurposed jar, which children can take home and continue to observe and enjoy! Plants and soil will be provided.
