Every gardener knows that compostable material is an important part of soil health. So why not give seedlings a head start by planting them in decomposable containers? How about containers that may have held your breakfast?  Children will start their own "eggshell seedlings" by planting seeds directly into egg shells. Once these seeds have sprouted, hey can be planted directly into the soil in their "earth friendly and highly decomposable" eggshell containers.
